會有人跳出來說這種英文老外看不懂嗎XD

其實內文跟標題一點關係都沒有。Tim McCarver名言集。

都是第一局時聽到的…

  1. Tim McCarver曰︰一個速球投手握球時手指扣的越緊，投出的球就越慢。（按︰啊！？）
  2. Tim McCarver曰︰不能理解為什麼一個投手在二好球時要丟變速球！他可以丟外角曲球、外角滑球，但變速球？不能理解！（按︰囧～）

我才完全不能理解為什麼他以前可以打大聯盟。

麻煩老袁跟老常，口譯美國轉播單位我沒意見，但請不要連白癡轉播的都口譯好嗎-_-

    也就是說”UN for Taiwan”的意思是”台灣入聯”嗎?

    應該談談台北捷運裡的白痴英文標語……
    中文要人家注意寬鬆衣服不要被手扶梯夾到
    英文裡連手扶梯都沒提，只懂英文的應該根本不知道＂注意寬鬆衣服與過長的長褲＂是爲了什麼吧！

    就英文來說，
    到底是WS for Red Sox，
    還是Red Sox for WS 哪個比較好呢？*-)

    意思不太一樣吧，
    ［人］for［頭銜］是一個習慣用法，但不適用在UN跟WS的例子上。
    UN跟WS並不是頭銜。

    UN for Taiwan 跟 WS for the Red Sox 才是比較可以被接受的。

    說到UN，上次在聯合報看到一篇白痴投書，
    作者認為UN是被誤認為西班牙文的1（這位作者顯然不懂大小寫的差別），
    而且沒加點點（這位作者認為U.N.才對），所以錯錯錯！

    這種投書都可以登出來，聯合報的讀者水準真是高！
    建議他以後去推動「消滅US，回復U.S.A.」的復古運動好了。

    I agree with 席特曼但不管是UN for Taiwan 跟 WS for the Red Sox都不是那麼清楚. 我不懂的是Taiwan in UN 跟 Red Sox in WS 不是更簡單且清楚嗎?

    如果有好的變速球…兩好球之後未什麼不能用-_-

    再打者可能等待快速直球,或是猜測可能是外角吊球的時候…

    來一顆有凍結效果的變速球常常看到阿(lero)

    你說的那兩句就廣告意義上不是很有力量的句子, 效果不會好.

    如那位Turton所說, 我也覺得A for B的用法在口語上有多種用途, 沒什麼不對的. 倒是覺得很有趣, 原來當初出來靠北說UN for Taiwan是bad English的那位”外籍教師”, 其blog上最新的那篇文章是寫文言文….
