佛羅里達馬林魚隊宣佈放棄左投手梅爾（Dan Meyer），因為他在大聯盟一勝難求。

梅爾今年在奧克蘭運動家隊出賽11場，有4場先發，戰績0勝4敗，防禦率7.48。他在3A出賽22場，其中有20場先發，戰績10勝5敗，防禦率4.48。

梅爾大聯盟生涯為亞特蘭大勇士隊和運動家隊打了3個球季，總計出賽19場有7場先發，戰績0勝6敗，防禦率7.63。

這位在2002年第一輪被勇士隊選中的投手，迄今在大聯盟一勝難求，仍要繼續尋找自己的落腳處。
